Integrated Sub-Zero service
Integrated Sub-Zero doors, kept closed and sealed in Cherry Creek
Behind a wood or stone front, a Sub-Zero door is a heavy panel on hinges, a cam that pulls it shut and a magnetic gasket. Creekside Panel Refrigeration repairs all of it, and the refrigeration behind it, in Cherry Creek North, Cherry Creek East and Country Club.
Schematic elevation
Four parts make one integrated door
- Custom panel and handle Made by your cabinetmaker. Sub-Zero sets a maximum weight for it, handle included.
- Hinges They carry door and panel. Designer (formerly Integrated) hinges are not adjustable; alignment is set at the panel.
- Closing cam Part of the hinge: it pulls the door through the last of its swing. Broken, it leaves the door short.
- Gasket The magnetic seal around the liner. It seals only when the door meets the cabinet squarely.
Before you call
Three checks you can make tonight
-
Read the reveal
The gap beside the panel should be even top to bottom. Tighter at the bottom on the handle side means the door has dropped.
-
Pull a paper strip
Shut the door on paper at the upper corner by the handle and draw it out. Light drag is right; if it slides free, the seal is open there.
-
Let it swing
Open the door a hand’s width and let go. It should travel in and seal by itself. Stopping short or rebounding points to the cam or the hinge.

What we repair here
Integrated and panel-ready Sub-Zero repair
Columns, over-and-under units and drawers behind cabinetry. Panels come down without marking the millwork and go back on their marks; behind them we fix cooling, controls, ice, fans and door hardware. The $89 visit is credited when you go ahead.
Seal and hinge
Gaskets and hinges, in the right order
A call that starts with the gasket often ends at the hinge. Sub-Zero sets a maximum weight for each model’s custom panel, counting the front panel, any backer and spacer panels fastened to it, the custom handle. Over it, Sub-Zero warns of hinge problems, and a door that sags or even falls off.
The Denver Gazette described Cherry Creek in May 2026 as booming with Ritz-Carlton and Waldorf Astoria branded condominiums, with “Coming soon” signs on almost every block. New kitchens get heavy fronts, and a re-faced door is seldom weighed.

Questions owners ask us
Can the panel come off without marking the cabinets?
Yes. We cover the floor and the neighboring cabinets, record where the panel sits, and hang it back on those marks so the gaps match. A panel glued or fixed in a way the installation guide does not describe gets a conversation before any force.
Will a new gasket fix a sagging door?
Rarely on its own. A seal presses evenly only when the door meets the cabinet squarely. Once a heavy door drops, the upper corner on the handle side lifts first, and a fresh gasket gaps there too. The hinge and the panel weight come first.
Designer columns and drawers too, or only Classic?
Both: Designer columns and over-and-under units, refrigerator and freezer drawers, and panel-ready Classic models. Read us the model number if you can find it; the rating tag is usually inside, near the top. It tells us which hinge and gasket the door uses.
Still under Sub-Zero’s warranty: who do I call?
Sub-Zero. Repairs under the manufacturer’s warranty are handled by Sub-Zero’s own service network, which we are not part of. When that coverage has ended, or for a fault it excludes, such as damage traced back to the installation, call us and we take the job on directly.
What Our Cherry Creek Customers Say
Our Sub-Zero stopped cooling over the weekend and we were panicking about losing all our groceries. They came out the same day, diagnosed a compressor issue, and had it fixed within a few hours. The technician was professional, efficient, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend their service.
Michael RodriguezCherry Creek, CO
I have used their service twice now for different issues with my built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator. Both times they were prompt, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem on the first visit. Their pricing was fair and transparent. It is refreshing to find a repair company you can actually trust.
Jennifer ThompsonWashington Park, CO
The ice maker in our Sub-Zero had not worked properly for months. Previous repair companies could not figure it out. These technicians diagnosed the problem immediately and ordered the right part. They came back within days to install it and now everything works perfectly. Worth every penny.
